The girls Varsity soccer team won against the Munster Mustangs on Thursday, Sept. 5. The game was played at Munster and ended with a score of 3-0.

“I think our team is pretty close. We all work together, support each other and encourage each other,” Maggie Grudzien (10) said.

The girls worked hard at strengthening their bond this season to improve their communication. Allowing them to have better ties on and off the field, they feel that they have worked more as a team this season.

“Our communication has gotten a lot better and we work together,” Maggie Grudzien (10) said.

The team’s performance has improved along with their communication skills. Their teamwork has given them more confidence in their strengths and made it easier for them to work on their weaknesses. The girls have many goals for this season.

“[Our goals are] sectionals, specific communication and relationships,” Jillian Hearne (10) said.

By accomplishing their goals, they hope to get stronger and win more of their games. They believe that playing their best will help them get to sectionals. With their confidence, they are fun to watch. The girls’ next home game is Tuesday, Sept. 10, against Bishop Noll.

“We’re amazing and we’re really exciting to watch,” Jill Hearne (10) said.
