Starting off the football season, the boys were sporting a brand new color hoping to bring a brand new attitude to the game.
“The old jerseys faded and we told Under Armour if they did not replace them, we would buy from another company. We ended up getting the black jerseys for free,” Coach St. Germain said.
The LC stands were packed with fans decked out in black, all supporting the change.
“It was really neat seeing everyone in black. It made us look intimidating,” Alec Pickert (12) said.
All 200 shirts sold out during A lunch, but students were lined up every lunch looking to buy them.
“I apologize for not having enough shirts. Throughout the year we will be selling more. I think our fans did an awesome job,” St. Germain said.
