Target takeover

After a long two months of fundraisers, Student Council and NHS members met after school at Target on Wednesday, Dec. 11 to finish shopping for Angel Tree gifts. Many of the members were eager to gather the last few gifts left for the Angels.

“I love doing what I need to do for my school and helping my school out in anyway possible, so that’s why I came out here today,” Joanna Kouros (9) said.

Overall, Student Council has exceeded their goal and raised enough money to help 1000 families for the holidays. Without the help of the students and staff around school, the truck load of gifts would not be possible.

“The amount of gifts we bought today just shows how amazing and helpful people can be when they come together for a specific cause. All of these gifts are going to be under someone’s tree who may have thought there would be none this year,” Ava Thompson (12) said.
