Lake Central Freshman Football won their first game against Munster on Thursday, August 23 with a final score of 33-14.
“I was really excited before the game,” Kyle Koehler (9) said. “We all had the passion to win.”
Sean Griffin (9) scored the first touchdown of the game, and his high school career.
“It felt good making the first touchdown,” Griffin said. “I was glad I made it and I was glad for my teammates.”
With 3:39 left on the clock, Munster scored their second touchdown ending the game with a final score 33-14 in Lake Central’s favor.
“We need more work,” Griffin said. “We need to study plays and focus on giving 110 percent.”
The team will play their next game on Thursday against.
