Craving a Review

At Crave one of the options on the menu is s’mores indoor. It was a delicious treat that consisted of the topping you’d expect on s’more.

Crave Waffle Shop had its grand opening on Sept. 9, and they are going to leave you craving more. Waffles are in the name of their shop, but on the waffles they put ice cream, a heavenly combo. It is perfect for a person who wants to satisfy their sweet tooth. Crave is located in Dyer, Indiana next to Orange Theory.

Instead of a cone, which gives you a crunchy juxtaposition to the ice cream, one of the ways you can get your ice cream is in a bubble waffle cone. A bubble cone is a relatively new concept, where a waffle iron is used and it has indents to give it a bubbled look. You can also order a traditional waffle cone, but it’s in a taco shape.

You can order your own custom ice cream cone with a wide variety of toppings and flavors. They have basic flavors of chocolate and vanilla, then there’s also unique flavors like graham cracker and strawberry cheesecake, plus more. For toppings, there are different types of candies.

If you don’t want to make your own creation, then you can order off their menu, where they offer six ice cream tacos and ten different bubble waffles cones. The most unique for the tacos would be the “cereal killer,” where they load it up with fruity cereals. For the bubble cones I would pick “s’mores indoors”; it consists of graham-cracker ice cream, hot fudge, crushed nuts, marshmallows, a biscoff cookie and whipped cream.

All in all, I would recommend stopping at Crave if you want something a little different from the traditional ice cream cone.
