With all of the students, families and faculties health in mind, it has been decided to once again suspend in person learning. This suspension will take place during the week of Jan.4, 2021.

After Thanksgiving, a large number of students were either quarantined or self-quarantined. Students will not return to school until Jan. 11, which gives a built in quarantine period after winter break. This list breaks down the details of this in person suspension.

  • The suspension of in person learning will begin Monday, Jan. 4.
  • Students who chose in-person learning will return to the buildings learning Monday, Jan. 11.
  • This temporary move to the e-learning platform will include all preschool, applied skills and LCHS CTE classes.
  • Students who attend the Hammond Area Career Center will continue in person instruction for this one week.
  • Families will be updated on Jan. 5 in hopes of confirming the return to in person learning on Jan. 11.
  • For younger students, the Adventure Club will be available over this one week period.
