Ariana Grande has been in the music industry for many years, and this isn’t her first rodeo with a new groundbreaking single. The trio of Ariana Grande, Doja Cat and Megan Thee Stallion was a surprising, but much needed collaboration. Remixes can either be really good or really bad, there is no in between. This remix is definitely a curve ball that came out of nowhere, but it was very much needed.

The music industry is full of artists that stay in the shadows or shine as bright as a star. Grande is definitely a star that no one can hide from the spotlight. Her career has been record-breaking throughout her time in the industry. Grande has 6 total albums full of 12 chart-topping singles. She has had a total of 5 consecutive albums hit number one on Billboard’s 200 chart. Her latest album, Positions, spent a full week at number one on the Billboard’s top album chart. Positions came out on Oct. 30, with a new single of the same name that same day. The single hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and has stayed on that chart for 12 weeks.

From the latest album came 4 singles so far:   :Positions”, “34+35”, “POV” and Motive. Grande had three collaborations with this album, including Ty Dolla $ign, The Weeknd and Doja Cat. The favorite duo from the collaborations was definitely Doja Cat, and fans weren’t surprised that the two collaborated again with the “34+35 remix”. Grande posted on her instagram and twitter a retro TV with the words “34+35 remix” and the vocals of 34+35 on Jan. 13. The whole fanbase had no idea what was going to happen or what would come out of that one little post.

The “34+35 remix” was released on Jan. 14 and did not disappoint. Fans knew she was collaborating with two other artists, and when they found out it was Doja Cat and Megan Thee Stallion, they knew it was going to be record-breaking. The remix has not been brought to the radio yet, but probably won’t make its debut due to the language used in the song. Fans loved to see what this trio could make out of their voices together, and hopefully more is to come.
