I tried the Starbucks brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso and here’s what it tastes like

Starbucks recently released their new espresso drink in United States locations. I wanted to see how this drink relates to other Espressos or coffee drinks I have tried. Espresso drinks are popular because of the amount of caffeine it has to keep you going. They are now a staple among many coffee shops. This Brown Sugar Espresso also contains no dairy which provides variety to allow customers with all needs to enjoy.
When I received my drink you could instantly smell the brown sugar and coffee mixture. It smelled very delightful and I couldn’t wait to try my first sip. There was some foam at the top and since it was shaken, everything seemed pretty evenly mixed. Upon the first sip, it was delicious. I loved the touch of oat milk because even that had a flavor. One thing I would critique was that there was a lot of foam at the top which caused you to not get the full flavor experience until a little farther down the road.
There was a perfect amount of brown sugar and I was excited to try the brown sugar because I have never thought to put that in my coffee before. The combination between that and the coffee was perfect. I could have used a little less ice but that’s often the case in many starbucks drinks I order. The spices and tastes of espresso came together so nicely and I honestly enjoyed the flavor so much.
The price of the drink, $5.45, I think is a little pricey compared to all the other drinks Starbucks has to offer but I overall think it was worth it because of the taste. This drink is served all day, but they often run out because of its popularity. I would recommend this drink to anyone because I think it was made to perfection.
