   On Sept. 24, the girls JV soccer team went up against the Andrean 59ers. The team beat the 59ers with a final score of 9-0. 

   “I think the game went great. The team as a whole played and passed really well and we scored several goals in return. I had three of the nine goals, so I had quite the games as well. It was a great team win,” Jessica Depner (10) said.

   With Andrean being one of the rivals of the Indians, the girls team were a bit nervous to play. Only having 2 games left in their season the girls are ready to play another team after their win. 

   “We only have two games left in the regular season, one of them being Valpo. I’m looking forward to that game because it should be a good challenging game for us,” Depner said. 

   Depner also said that she has enjoyed her season and that her favorite memory was the South Bend tournament. There are only two games left in the season so make sure to go support your lady Indians before their season is over.
