N-Teens is a club for students willing to volunteer throughout all of Lake County.
Some of the main projects that members of the club volunteer for are the Habitat for Humanity restore, teacher appreciation, the safety village and the Covered Bridge Festival. The club also picks the theme and helps decorate for the winter formal dance in January.
“N-Teens is a volunteer based group. I got involved during my freshman year. I heard about it, and it sounded interesting,” Victoria Scott (12) said.
People are able to join the club at anytime throughout the school year and start volunteering.
“[New members] just show up to a meeting. If new people come, there’s a $5 due. Then they just continue coming to meetings and volunteer,” Ms. Erin Rawls, Mathematics, said.
The club meets on Thursdays in either the LGI room or in E200. The next meeting will be held on Oct. 18.
