The first episode is mainly about finding out that Simon has died, the police investigating if it was a homicide, and mysterially post on AboutThat that Simon’s killer confessing to his murder.

The show, “One of Us Is Lying” is set mainly in British Columbia, Canada and New Zealand. This show is a murder mystery, based on the novel by Karen M. McManus which was published in 2017. The show premiered on Peacock television network, located in New York; the show’s full episodes were released on Oct. 21, 2021. The starring main characters are Bayview High’s four biggest offenders; Bronwyn Rojas, Nate Macauley, Addy Prentiss, and Cooper Clay. Playing the roles are Cooper van Grootel as Nate, Annalisa Cochrane as Addy, Marianly Tejada as Bronwyn, and Chibuikem Uche as Cooper.

The narrator introducing the show is Mark McKenna, playing as Simon Kelleher (the outcast), as being known as the mayor’s son, he is the character that releases people’s secrets on an app called “AboutThat.” Each of the characters get called down to detection for questionable reasons with their phones. When they are in detention, the teacher watching over them leaves for a school matter. After the teacher leaves, an incident happens that leaves only 4 of the students coming out alive. Although Simon was the one that died, the secrets still are coming out and they don’t know who it is.

From my perspective of the first 3 episodes, it is thrilling and suspenseful. With my liking of criminal investigations or murder documents. I would suggest this show to people related to my interests.
