Scare for Charity

Transformed from a normal household to a haunted clinic, King’s Krypt Halloween Haunt and Halloween display will be welcoming customers in the month of October.

For this year’s haunted attraction, presented by Stay Weird Clothing Company, visitors can expect to walk through the halls of a bone-chilling clinic full of spirits and horrifying inhabitants.

Casey King, owner of Stay Weird Clothing Company and mastermind behind the King’s Krypt Halloween Haunt, has been working hard along with others for the last few weeks to prepare.

“It has definitely been strenuous. The ultimate payoff is getting some screams,” King said.

What started off as a few plastic gravestones and pumpkins in the front yard is now a full-blown display of heart-racing madness. Year after year, the display continues to grow, becoming more and more elaborate.

The House Haunt is in Highland. Tickets are only $3, and a portion of all proceeds benefit the Humane Society Calumet Area.
