Lake Central Varsity Football lost on Friday to Merrillville with a score of 17-38.

The boys are working harder to redeem themselves for the next game.

“Whenever you lose there’s a pain you don’t want to feel. We’re driving to beat Valparaiso next game.” Brandon Scott (10) said.

The overall season has a record of 6-2 ranking the Indians as second in the conference.

“We have a lot of talent on both sides of the ball. If we play as one there’s no reason we shouldn’t get far in the playoffs.” Hagen Haley (10) said. “

The boys will play their next game on Friday, Oct. 12 against Valparaiso.
