Before the game starts, the girls varsity soccer team huddles up for a quick pep talk. The girls talked about their plans for the game before they faced the opposing team.

Up to serve, Lily Barth (11) looks at the ball ready to swing. She jumped up and her serve went over the net. “We were just kind of playing frantically. I think the communication could’ve been better at the beginning, but I think we pulled it together and we came out with the win,” Barth said.

I also like to study the opposing team’s tactics because it helps me perform better. This really gets my head into the game,” Carter-Reed said.
