The varsity boys basketball team scored a 50-45 victory over the Valparaiso Vikings on Nov. 30.
After a quick 7-0 lead in the first quarter, Valparaiso put in a 3-pointer with 3:42 left in the first quarter.
“I feel like the game went okay. Our chemistry isn’t quite there just yet, but an upside is that we always go 100 percent and never give up,” Joseph Bannister (10) said.
The Vikings made up for the first quarter, but at halftime, the Indians led the game with a score of 25-19.
Even though the score came to 39-37 in the 4th quarter, Valparaiso could not catch up throughout the entire game.
“I would say our communication and chemistry is great at times, but at other times, it’s bad,” Cory Dickelman (11) said.
The next time the Indians play will be Dec. 7, at home against Crown Point.
