Members of the JV boys wrestling team suffered a close loss at Crown Point on Thursday, 37-38 against the Bulldogs.
“We fought hard but came up short. [Our record] is 6-1 now.” said Jacob Stewart (10).
The JV wrestlers still put up a fight throughout the whole match. Luke Sutherland (10), Bryan Tunis (9), Austin Taylor (9) and Jacob Stewart (10) snagged individual wins, contributing to the close score.
“We need to work on getting off the back and being tougher in the bottom,” Robert Geyer (12) said.

The Indians’ next meet is against the Slicers at LaPorte High School on Jan. 2.
