Every other Wednesday, a group of dedicated students meet in E105 to discuss upcoming events at school. Students have lots to talk about, ranging from school activities to outside volunteer work.
“We meet to usually discuss just what is going on. We currently have the talent show coming up in the spring so we’re busy planning and advertising for that. Student council is also in charge of Angel Tree. We also help the food bank and Habitat for Humanity,” Amanda Blais (11) said.
Students may question why to even be a part of this club at school, but there are many benefits for being involved.
“I decided to be on Student Council because it is going to look really good on my college applications,” Jenna DeJoris (11) said.
If anyone is interested in joining, the next meeting is Wednesday, Feb. 27.
