After having their full attention dedicated to performing their best at the State show with “The Harvey Girls,” theater students switched gears and started preparing for their spring musical “Once on This Island.”

Alex Tinklenberg (12) plays the main character’s adopted father.

“[This show] is different [from others] because it’s really heavily music based,” Tinklenberg (12) said.

“Once on this Island” is about a peasant girl who is not happy with where she is and dreams of being swept away.

The show’s opening night is March 1, and the last show is March 9. Senior Night is March 7 and all proceeds from this show go to scholarships for the senior theater members.
