On Wednesday, Aug. 21, the Munster boys tennis team hopped on the bus and traveled to our home courts. Though it was a tough loss for the Indians, in the end, our boys tennis team was content with how hard they fought.

“We played our hardest. We’re just worrying about ourselves, trying not to focus on the opponent and playing as hard as we can,” James Lafakis (11) said.

Throughout the game, the players had some memorable moments.

“My best moment was probably the one ace I had in the second set. It felt pretty good,” Thomas Ruzga (12) said.

With a fresh season ahead, goals are being set into place.

“We would like to compete in the Duneland and our goal is to get a little better every day,” Coach David Cafmeyer said.

The next match will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 28, at 4:30 p.m. at Highland High School.
