Hannah Lutz(9) fights her Munster opponent on September 5 at the girls’ JV soccer game. The girls lost their game 5-0.

The JV girls soccer team faced Munster on Sept. 5 at Munster and lost with a score of 5-0.

The girls coach, Ms. Terri Budlove, Business, has been out sick since Sept. 4, and according to Coach Julie Moore, the replacement for coach Budlove, the girls have been off their game since.

“We definitely weren’t in sync this game. We needed to make some improvements. The girls have been out of sync without Coach Budlove,” Moore said.

The girls are working to improve their communication on the field. They hope to improve their skills from their last game, and are working hard with the goal of winning the next one.

“We are working well, we have good individual skills and we are trying our hardest to put them together as a whole,” Samantha Bernardy (10) said.

The next JV girls game is Thursday, Sept. 12 against Griffith at Griffith High School.
