On Wednesday, Oct. 16, the Interact Club met up after school to talk about their plans for the week regarding the annual food drive.

They started off making posters that will be hung around the school. These posters are hung to encourage students and staff members to donate to the food drive. Interact President Brandon Cole (12), Vice President Alexander Armstrong (12) and Vice President Brandon Szwet (12) take charge at these meetings.

“We are in charge of getting the meetings together and getting everything in order for the upcoming events, like the food drive,” Cole said.

Students and staff members can donate canned foods, bags of clothes, or turkeys to the food drive and gain points for their 6th hour class.

“I always donate to the food drive, out of the kindness of my heart, because it makes me feel like a better person,” Veljko Mileusnic(12) said.

The Interact Club meets every Wednesday after school in C103, Mr. Clark’s room. Anyone is welcome to participate and get involved in the community.
