Fall show set to open

With the fall show quickly approaching, the Lake Central Theater Company puts the final touches on the production, “The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood,” which is set to open on Thursday, Nov. 21.

“It has been so much fun working with a whole new group of people than I had before, and I love them all. Especially the seniors, because they really are helpful and very nice,” Adam Gustas (9) said.

The show is about Robin Hood of the Sherwood Forest, who has to win over the heart of his maiden by battling an evil prince. The comedy is a spin on the the tale of Robin Hood and his Merry Men.

“I think [the show] is great. It’s a hilarious show and it’s really fun to see my best friends up there,” Rachel Dobias (12) said.

The show starts at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and at 2 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $7 for students and seniors, $9 for adults and $5 for kids ages 12 and under.
