On Jan. 14, the varsity boys basketball team traveled to Highland to play the Trojans. The Indians got off to a good start by playing good defense resulting in a final score of 82-38.

“I felt like we played good team defense and that lead us to playing well on offense,” Tyler Wideman (12) said.

The Indians led the entire game, not giving the Trojans a chance to catch up. The varsity team’s record is currently 9-2.

“We played well. We focused on what we did in the practices and transferred it to the game. If we keep going at it in practice and getting better each day we will be very successful this season,” Matthew Meneghetti (12) said.

The boys are looking for another win against Portage later today, Jan. 17. The game is at Portage High School and will start at 7:30 p.m.
