Parking pandemonium

With the ongoing construction here at LC, students have been parking in undesignated areas. This has been causing many problems for the administration and faculty.

“The back lot is primarily faculty and few students that have been assigned,” Mr. Marty Freeman, Assistant Principal, said.

At the beginning of the year, over 458 parking passes were issued. This includes student and faculty parking. However, many students are parking in spots that have not been issued to them as well as illegal spots.

“[Starting Monday, March 10] we will walk the parking lots. Anyone parking in the back [that is not supposed to be] will have their tag removed. If they are an underclassman parking without a ticket, they will not be eligible for the lottery next year,” Mr. Freeman said.

If a student’s parking pass gets revoked, it will go to another student on the waiting list. To avoid this inconvenience, students with parking passes should simply park in the spot their pass permits.
