The JV boys basketball team fought hard against the John Adams Eagles on Friday, Feb. 27. The Eagles ended up defeating the Indians in a close game. The score was 41-59.
“We played alright, but we kind of slowed down toward the end. That’s what resulted in the outcome of the game. I felt we could have played a lot better,” Justin Graves (9) said.
After the game, the team discussed what tactics they could have used to come out with the win.
“I feel we played decent as a team. [We should have played] more full on the offense, [there were] a lot less [three pointers] and better closing out on defense,” Justin Graciano (9) said.
A few of the team members talked about what they could improve on in their game.
“[The team needed] better defense because one of the teammates kept scoring a lot on the other team and more communication,” Keon Sellers (9) said.
This game was the last game of the season for the JV team.
