Academic Superbowl Studies for Spring Competition

Academic+Superbowl+Studies+for+Spring+Competition

The Academic Superbowl team is studying diligently in preparation for its competition in March.

“I prepared packets of information that cover the points issued by the state; we usually meet once every couple of weeks to work together as a team,” Mr. David Harnish, team and science section advisor, said.

Although the team has time before its competition, they are still studying hard.

“As we work together as a team, we divide the work. If one person doesn’t do it, it can reflect badly on our score,” Peter Lai (11), fine arts team, said.

The team is divided into five categories: fine arts, history, math, science and language. Each category has a different topic; this year, the history team is learning about the Revolutionary War.

“This is the best team I’ve had in awhile; I expect nothing but first place,” Mr. Tom Clark, history team advisor, said.
