On Monday, Nov. 23, the JV boys basketball team charged onto the court with one goal in mind, and that was winning. The team played the Andrean 59ers for their first home game of the season.

“[Our goal is to] win all of our games, go to state and bring home a trophy,” Kwame Walker Jr. (11) said.

The Indians put up a tough fight for Andrean, leaving the score at 15-21 with Andrean in the lead. During halftime, the JV and varsity Centralettes performed, leaving the crowd in awe. After halftime, the battle was rough, leaving the final score at 52-42 Andrean.

“Hopefully we just play as a team and just stick with each other,” Justin Oneself (10) said.

Even though they did not prevail, the boys will be giving it their all at the next game at Hamilton Southeastern on Saturday, Nov. 28, at 2:30 p.m.
