On Tuesday, April 5, the freshman baseball team won against the Chesterton Trojans by slaughter
rule. The chilly weather didn’t stop the boys from getting the win.The final score before the game was called was 10-0.
“It was really cold, but we still had a good game,” Maxwell Born (9) said.
Not only were the boys on top of their game, but according to some players, the coaches also did a nice job at the game.
“I thought the coaching tonight was great, especially Coach [Brian McNamara, West Lake],” Born said.
Even though the boys won as a whole, many of the players had goals of their own for the game. Some of the teammates believed despite the win, it was still not a good game. Other players thought it was a good game not only for the team, but also for themselves.
“It was a really good game for me tonight,” Evan Hand (9) said.
