On Friday, Oct. 7, the varsity boys football team took on the Merrillville Pirates. Lake Central’s tailgate started at 5:45 p.m. in the Merrillville parking lot, followed by the game starting at 7 p.m. The boys fought hard and had a halftime score of 9-0. In the end, the boys defeated the Pirates with a score of 23-7.
