Q: What made you start theater/acting?

A: It runs in my family. My grandma still does acting stuff. My great grandma was a singer and sang for Ronald Reagan. My mom was really big into dancing and acting, it’s just in my blood. It is what I was raised on.

Q: How long have you been in theater/acting?

A:  I did my first show when I was five.

Q: How long have you been doing shows at LC?

A: I was in “Annie” when I was in 5th grade. I auditioned because they had a thing where middle schoolers could come in to play some of the younger orphans, and I got in.

Q: Why do you do theater?

A: It’s an outlet and you meet so many different people with so many different personalities and backgrounds. It is a place where a lot of people come together, and it is very refreshing.

Q: What is your favorite part of theater?

A: Being able to completely change into something else. Being able to have that outlet for a little bit and not having to be me for two and half hours is cool and different.

Q: What was the Indiana State Thespian Conference like?

A: State was so fun. It was really cool  It was just a big group of all the people that I’m really close with and we went down, saw some shows, did some workshops. I did a swing dance workshop. I would never swing dance, and there I was.

Q: What was your favorite part about State?

A: I loved the workshops, going and seeing and actually being taught very specific theater curriculum about so many different things. Things like dancing while still acting and building up your character. Never have I ever learned anything like that in so much detail.
