Call Me Lucky

Call+Me+Lucky

Carly Rae Jepsen came to Chicago to the B96 studio on Mar. 26. The singer has had a run-in with fame recently as one of her songs, “Call Me Maybe,” hit the top 10 on the Billboard 100.

“I called in one morning and won tickets to see her,” Morgan Cain (12) said.

Cain was accompanied by Lauren Skertich (11), Macy Heinold (Wheeler) and Tiffany Marquiss (’11).

“She sang two acoustic songs, [Call Me Maybe and Curiosity]. We also got to take pictures and got her autographs. We hung out for about an hour,” Cain said.

“She was such a sweetheart,” Skertich said.

Jepsen signed with Interscope Records recently to make her music international.

“She was super nice, really little but really sweet. She was really good live- a lot better than I expected,” Cain said.
