The boys freshman football played Chesterton on Oct. 4th. The boys won in a close game, 41-40.

Fighting for every chance to win the game, even through an injury, Jack Thompson (9) shows his potential throughout the whole game. A challenging first season did not stop this determined teammate, as he pushed through and showed the opposing team what he was made of. “Working through an injury has been tough, but I always try to push through it so I won’t let down the team. I just have to be smarter on how I play, and focus more on my positioning and communication over my speed and strength,” Thompson said.
JV Boys Soccer Take the Field Against Valpo
Fighting for the ball, Ayoub Maheb (11) prevents the ball from going out of bounds. Maheb has played soccer for ten years, just recently transferring to LC his sophomore year, and has played varsity ever since. For Maheb, being a senior next year means being in a position of leadership as an older player. “I feel that it will be a heavy burden with big shoes to fill, but I believe I can become a reliable leader that the rest of the team can depend on.”
