Q: Why did you decide to come shadow today?

A: Last year, two of our classmates went to Lake Central, and I really want to go to a public school, but a lot of public schools make you live in the district, so I’m looking at ones that you don’t.

Q: What were you expecting when you came here?

A: I didn’t really have any expectations. I wanted to come here and see what would happen.

Q: Now that you’re here, what are some things that you like?

A: I really like the sense of community that’s in this school. You all look like you have lifelong bonds. I like the teachers. They seem like they actually want to be here and educate students.

Q: What are some things that you didn’t like?

A: It is a bigger school, but you can adjust to that. Nothing really scared me.

Q: How does this compare to the other schools you’ve looked at?

A: Some of the others are private schools, so they were a lot smaller. I went to Andrean and Marian Catholic, and they were pretty decent.

Q: Do you think that you would consider coming here?

A: Yes. It’s a nice school.
