Fighting for every chance to win the game, even through an injury, Jack Thompson (9) shows his potential throughout the whole game. A challenging first season did not stop this determined teammate, as he pushed through and showed the opposing team what he was made of. “Working through an injury has been tough, but I always try to push through it so I won’t let down the team. I just have to be smarter on how I play, and focus more on my positioning and communication over my speed and strength,” Thompson said.

Protecting the goal post, Connor Billmeyer (10) moves out onto the field to better watch the ball. Billmeyer has understood the impact of team chemistry in relation to team performance, noting his favorite memory of soccer was their win against Chesterton, a result of their team synergy. “You obviously have to have good players, but you have to be able to know who you're playing for and who you are playing with in order to play as a team. We play as a family so chemistry means everything,” Billmeyer said.
