Sharing her experience with breast cancer, Mrs. Claire Kuhlenschmidt (Social Studies) details the mental struggles that she endured. She shared this during the Women Empowerment Club’s October meeting. “Even though cancer is this horrible thing, it just changed my perspective on a lot of things. Some stuff that used to bother me before doesn’t bother me anymore. There were some things I would talk with my mom about, there were some things I would talk to my husband about, but I don't think anybody got the full story of what I was going through because it was very challenging,” Mrs. Kuhlenschmidt said.
On Oct. 29th, the Women’s Empowerment Club held their monthly meeting to raise breast cancer awareness.
