Varsity volleyball crushed Valparaiso with a stunning 25-22, 25-23, 25-16 sweep.
“I’m so ecstatic to win against Valparaiso. We haven’t beaten them in a couple of years and the win feels good,” Sarah Anderson (12) said.
Valparaiso was the top-ranked high school volleyball team in Northwest Indiana, suffering their second lost from Lake Central.
JV joined Varsity in defeating Valparaiso with a 27-11 and 25-14 win.
“I feel that we did really well and our intensity was high. I think communication has gotten better in helping the team win,” Alyssa Hulett (10) said.
Both Anderson and Hulett have high hopes that the LC JV and Varsity volleyball teams will be successful in the rest of the DAC.
