JV Boys Soccer Triumphs Over Bulldogs

The JV Boys Soccer team defeated the Crown Point Bulldogs 2-1 in a close game on Sept. 13.
“We played pretty well as a team,” Austin Chekaluk (9) said.
The Indians were winning 1-0 at half-time with a goal scored by Nikola Tepsic (10), but soon after, the Bulldogs scored and tied the game. LC, however, was able to defend themselves, and David Kelly (11) scored a goal, putting the Indians in the lead. The Bulldogs could not come back, and LC won the game 2-1.
“We did a good job coming back and getting the win,” Chekaluk said.
The JV Indians hope to take home another win at their next game on Sept. 19 at 5:00 p.m. at home.
