New Fall Drinks are liked a Latte

The new starbucks fall menu was officially released on August, 24. Many fans have long awaited the famous pumpkin spice latte, along with the many other featured items on the new menu. Though the spotlight is on the drinks, there are new baked goods as well.

“My favorite fall treat from Starbucks would definitely be the baked apple croissant. I didn’t expect to like it because I don’t even like apple pie, but I surprisingly really enjoyed it,” Jasdeep Kaur (10) said.

While many people order the original drink, some customize their order to their liking. There are endless substitutes available to meet the customers’ wants.

“My favorite drink to get off the fall drink menu is a pumpkin spice frappuccino. I swap the ingredients of the original drink with oat milk with extra whipped cream, to get the perfect combination,” Zaynah Khaja (11) said.

Starbucks recently came out with the deal of buy one get one free, and will be applied every Thursday of the month. Thurs-Yay’s (the BOGO deal) is very specific with what you purchase. In order to get the reward you can only order the fall drinks after 12 p.m.

“I would not get the Starbucks fall drinks without the deal because I don’t think they are good enough to drink both flavors. I would rather try something different instead of the fall flavors,” Angel Maltez-Del Cid (10) said.

While many customers wait all year for their favorite fall drinks to be released, the Starbucks lovers insist they need to have these drinks on the menu year round. On the other hand, some think that certain flavors are not worth the wait.

“My least favorite fall drink is the pumpkin cream cold brew. When I tried this drink it was very bitter, and did not taste well to me. I would rather have the Iced Pumpkin Chai Latte, it was a lot more flavorful,” Julia Gibson (12) said.
