LC hosted the 32nd annual Harvest Classic on Saturday, Dec. 1. Sixteen teams attended the wrestling event .
LC did very well in the first two rounds of the tournament. Eleven wrestlers advanced into the third round.
“Mostly everyone made it through the first and second rounds. We had a lot of teammates in the finals,” Gelen Robinson (11) said.
Of the 13 LC wrestlers who participated in the tournament, Robinson and Matthew Lechowicz (12) were named Harvest Champions.
“I felt relieved of the pressure, and I’m glad after four years, I got the Harvest win,” Lechowicz said.
Lechowicz won the 120-pound weight class, while Robinson won the 220-pound weight class.
“It felt good, because it’s the only home tournament we have, so it’s nice to win that for the second time,” Robinson said.
