Friday, Jan. 11, varsity boys basketball took on the Crown Point Bulldogs for the first time this season.
The Indians started off strong scoring seven points in the first five minutes. Four of these early points were scored by Tyler Wideman (11). Wideman continued to dominate the court and scored a total of 25 points throughout the game.
The game was close for the first half with a score of 24-25, LC at halftime.
Another strong player in this game was Tyler Ross (11) who scored 10 points and helped lead LC to victory.
Though the score remained close throughout, the game concluded with a Lake Central victory over the bulldogs with a final score 60-52.
