Hi! I'm Katie and I'm copy editor this year for the Comet and the website. This is my first year on Publications and I'm a sophomore. I'm super excited to be working on editing stories and looking forward to a great year!

At the beginning of the School Board meeting, Dr. Larry Veracco, Superintendent, goes over recent legislative updates. Some items included stop arm violations on buses and time set aside for certain students during the school day for religious purposes.

While ending the trip to Target for Angel Tree, Dominic Rizzo (12) and Genevieve Cosgrove (10) take bags full of gifts to load up onto the truck for Angel Tree that will then be taken to Salvation Army. This is an event put on by the Student Council every year. “We’re here shopping for kids from Angel Tree. We are getting all kinds of toys and hygiene items,” Rizzo said.
